Mark Munger is a well-respected lecturer and workshop leader. He has been retained by writing groups such as the JackPine Writers’ Bloc in Park Rapids, Minnesota, the Northwestern Ontario Writers’ Workshop, the Minneapolis Writers’ Workshop and the Iowa Book Festival to lead workshops on self-publishing, the writing life, the construction of a novel, and historical research in fiction writing. He is also an energetic speaker, having read from and discussed his books in many, many settings throughout the Midwest, including book clubs, bookstores, universities, and civic and service organizations. He is available for media interviews and has appeared on the AChannel (Winnipeg, Manitoba), Prairie Public Radio and Television (Fargo, ND), Minnesota Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Radio, “Almanac” (TPT Television), Real Good Words (KAXE radio) and countless other media outlets.

Mark’s Fee structure for workshops and lectures is variable, depending upon the distance the locale is from his home in Duluth. The following is a general outline of Mark’s fees:

 

Basic Lecture, Reading and Discussion of Mark’s Books or up to Two Hours of Workshop Time:

Within 75 miles of Duluth: $75.00

76-150 miles from Duluth: $100.00

151-250 miles from Duluth: $150.00 plus one night’s lodging (motel and two meals)

251 or more miles from Duluth: Please contact Mark via this website with your proposal

More Extensive Workshop/Writing Clinic:

By arrangement. Please contact Mark via this website with your proposal.

Bookstores

The above fees do not apply to bookstores hosting a launch, signing or reading of Mark’s books.

Libraries

The above fees apply to events at public libraries. However if you’re interested in Mark coming to your facility, shoot him an email and maybe something can be worked out!

Book Clubs
